- Fund cutting-edge undergraduate and graduate student research with world-class telescopes and supercomputer resources. We seek to produce a generation of students who break ground on world-changing projects.
- Build a vigorous visitor program to bring scientists from around the world for stays between one week to one year to interact with our faculty, researchers, and students.
- Create a prize-postdoctoral fellowship to bring sparks of new insight into the UCSC community.
- Interact with the public to bring cutting-edge planetary science to Silicon Valley. We wish to have UCSC researchers and/or internationally known guests give yearly free public lectures over the hill.
